That’s John William Waterhouse’s Juliet, from 1898. I’m quite enamored with Waterhouse lately (and the Pre-Raphaelites in general.) I love Waterhouse’s paintings of Shakespearean female characters, and Juliet and this version of Ophelia (from 1889) are my favorites:

They’re so wonderfully evocative, pretty, lush, intense, and have such stories to tell. Stunning stuff.
♥ I’m currently madly in love with the video for Belle & Sebastian’s “Funny Little Frog”:
“You are my girl, and you don’t even know it,
I am living out the life of a poet.
I am the jester in the ancient court,
And you’re the funny little frog in my doorway.”
It’s such a sweet and lovely song and the video is perfect. Download the song here: tinyurl.com/d3m5og
& I have a reproduction poster of the record sleeve art. I love it!:

& Oh! This is from early March, but I forgot to post it here:
Ha, yes, I indeed do sleep under a Spock poster. :) Highly illogical? Perhaps. But definitely quite comforting. ♥
I want to get back in the habit of regularly updating this & am working on a science-y post that should be done soon. Yay! Thanks for reading.
